Former Super Eagles star, Christopher slumps, dies in hotel

Justice Christopher, a former Super Eagles of Nigeria midfielder has died on Wednesday at the age of 40.

Quest Times reported On Tuesday, Christopher collapsed at his hotel in Jos, Plateau State, and was transported to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Christopher was a member of the Nigerian national football team and competed in the 2002 FIFA World Cup. For the Super Eagles, he earned eleven caps.

He most recently played in the Nigerian league for Nasarawa United, Katsina United, Sharks F.C., Bendel Insurance FC, Antwerp FC (Belgium), Levski Sofia (Bulgaria), Trelleborgs FF (Sweden), Alania Vladikavkaz in Russia, and Herflge BK in Denmark were among his many clubs.
