While delivering judgement today on the matter, presiding Justice Jude Okeke said the defendants had no case to answer on charges of corruption and fire arms’possession since the charges were based on mere speculations which did not meet constitutional standards, adding that no competent court would base its judgement on speculations.
The DSS had also alleged before the court that Justice Ademola had received N30million from a senior lawyer through his wife’s Guaranty Trust bank account, among other charges.
Okeke therefore discharged Justice Ademola and other defendants in the case, including his wife, a former Lagos State Head of Service.
