The National President, Unilorin Alumni Association, Dr Wale Fasakin, has reaffirmed the feat he attained since his assumption of the leadership position.
He said those behind the rumour that he had been removed as the president of the association are mischievous.
He maintained that there was no meeting held at the University of Ilorin where he was removed as president as claimed by the group.
Those that gave out the false information are those that are trying to forment trouble in the Association for their own personal gain.
He said, “My attention has been drawn to certain rumors perpetrated by a certain dissident group that I have been removed from office as the National President of the University of Ilorin Alumni Association.The question to ask them is ‘by what instrument of the Association?’
“I have kept quiet over their inanities these while, hoping that the elders of the Association, particularly, the ones I have, earlier, reported them to would put them in check, but since it looks like everyone wants us to bring our dirty fabrics to the public laundry, here we come, then.
“Those that are behind the mischievous act are doing that to cover up their fraudulent activities at various times they held various positions in the Association.”
