The Emir of Kastina, Abdulmuminin Usman, have pledge his support for Vice President Yemi Osinbajo during the Vice President visit to his palace to meet with delegates ahead of the primaries. He noted that Osinbajo has the adequate experience required to become the next president of Nigeria, come 2023.
The emir stressed that someone who knows the rule of the game is better than someone who is completely new to the system
“You need some touches; the touches you need are consultations. We are the grassroots, you have to consult the traditional institutions, and you go with them” said Emir.
While responding to the emir, Osinbajo said, working closely with the president has exposed him to all that there is to know about governing Nigeria.
He adds that he is aware of the various problems facing Nigeria and he is capable of finding a lasting solutions to them all, he however appreciated the Emir for his kind hospitality.
