
Governor Kayode Fayemi has invited to his office, the man who refused to accommodate his son; because he traveled to Ekiti state despite lockdown orders.
In a rare show of appreciation and commendation, Fayemi, is planning to make the father an ambassador on the anti-Covid campaigns.
The disciplinarian father, simply identified as Mr. Adeoye Femi, retired as a Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps.
According to information gathered from the office of the Governor, Thursday afternoon, Mr Adeoye was appointed an ambassador and was made a member of the Covid-19 Task Force in the state.
Commander Adeoye Femi, who is said to be resident in the state capital, Ado Ekiti, was seen in a viral video insisting he would not allow his son who sneaked into Ekiti from Lagos despite the lockdown orders.
The son claimed to have found his way to Ekiti apparently bribing his ways through the routes by hopping from one vehicle to another.
Meanwhile, the Commander Femi’s son, has been quarantined in one of the facilities of the state; where he is expected to be tested and observed for 14 days.
