The Presidency has showed fret over the resistance of Nigerians to abide with the Executive Order that makes mask-wearing and observation of social distancing in the public gatherings.
A statement made by Garba Shehu, Senior Special Assistant to the President (Media & Publicity), on Sunday, states that President Muhammadu Buhari gave the order with the best of aims and not with any mindset to punish the citizenry.
It, as a result, pleads with Nigerians to give their full cooperation for the success of the policy as it is the only way to prevent lockdown.
