Buhari launches ERGP, promises accelerated economic recovery.

In line with the present dispensation’s change agenda aimed at reviving the ailing economy, Nigeria’s President Muhammadu Buhari today in Abuja inaugurated the Nigeria Economic Recovery and Growth Plan,ERGP,2017-2020, with a promise to ensure a quick return to the country’s previous status of a producing nation.
The launch which took place prior to this week’s Federal Executive Council meeting had in attendance the Senate President Bukola Saraki,House of Representatives Speaker Yakubu Dogara,the ruling All Progressives’ Congress National Chairman John Odigie-Oyegun,Central Bank of Nigeria Governor Godwin Emefiele, Nigeria Governors Forum Chairman Abdul Aziz Yari, as well as serving ministers.
In a precise speech at the occasion,Buhari assured Nigerians that with a conscientious implementation of the plan which is a top priority of his government and the involvement through monitoring by the generality of Nigerians,the project would catapult the country’s economy to enviable height within a very short period of time.
He therefore urged Nigerians to follow and monitor the implementation of the document to the letter, adding that it was the responsibility of all and sundry to ensure that the country rose again from the doldrums.
