Group of unknown gunmen, Sunday has abducted the wife of the General Manager of Imo State Zoological Garden and Wild Life Park, in Owerri West Local Government Area, Mrs. Elizabeth Abioye.
A source who spoke with newsmen said that the gunmen stormed First Baptist Church, Wetheral Road, Owerri, in a sienna where she had gone for evening service.
“The gunmen came with an ash-colour Sienna vehicle, forced the woman into the vehicle and zoomed off, the source said.
The state Police Public Relations Officer, CSP Michael Abattam is yet to respond to the incident.
