Frontline Nigerian Saxophonist, Band Leader and Major Henchman of the late Afrobeat King, Fela Anikulapo Kuti recently clocked 85.
Family, friends, associates and well-wishers were proudly involved in a weeklong activities to honour the man whom many had described over the years as an ‘epitome of integrity, selflessness and loyalty’.
The weeklong activities included:
•An Evening of Music with Baba Ani, held on 15th August at the Freedom Park, Lagos.
•Symposium and Reception held on August 18 at the Lagos Theatre, Igando.
•Toast to Baba Ani- Master of Integrity and Loyalty, at the Gbedu Music Village.
