Many people have been confirmed injured in a gas explosion in the Amuwo-Odofin Local Government Area of Lagos State.

It was gathered that the incident happened around 7pm.

Spokesman of Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, Nosa Okunbor, confirmed the explosion.

He said team members deployed were on their way but delayed by traffic.
