On Wednesday the 27th August 2020, The Access Bank Branch on Adetokunbo Ademola Street, in Victoria Island Region of Lagos State was up in flames. The fire was said to have started from a diesel truck and a car on the bank’s premises.
FirstNigeriaTV gathered from eye witness reports that the incident occurred while the diesel truck was offloading diesel for the generators of the banks when it accidentally caught fire alongside a car in the banks premises.
A collaborated intervention from several Emergency Units, LASG Fire, Federal Fire, UBA Fire Service were able to control and prevent the spread of the fire to other buildings in the premises.
No Loss of Lives was recorded.
