The claims that the Iyaloja of the computer village, Chief Folashade Tinubu Ojo is behind the illegal levy in the computer village has been tended to by the coalition body.
The issue was addressed in a statement signed by the computer village coalition PRO, D S Ademola Olaifa.
The statement reads:
“The recent publications on prints, electronics and online media, that CHIEF FOLASHADE TINUBU OJO the Iyaloja General, levied computer village and used her father’s name to influence and actualize her demand were untrue and unfounded.
The iyaloja and Babaloja referred to in the publications were Miss. Azeez Bisola Raolat and Mr. Olasoji Adeniyi. The Iyaloja and Babaloja of Computer Village.
The installation of the Iyaloja and Babaloja in computer village has caused a lot of havoc and unrest to the ICT Hub. Since the installations were made in May 11th 2019, the installed Iyaloja and Babaloja has been dragging the name of Chief Mrs. Tinubu Ojo and her family into mud. Also dropped her names at every door steps of authorities to whip settlement in order to pervade justices. Miss. Azeez Bisola Raolat was the auditor for computers and allied products Dealers Association of Nigeria (CAPDAN) for over Twelve Years and was indicted for financial misappropriation also she was the auditor for the Ogunbiyi Community Development Association together with Mr. Olasoji Adeniyi as the Chairman and ruled for Five Years without proper accountability. Miss. Azeez Bisola Raolat and Mr. Olasoji Adeniyi has been stigmatize with notorious activities and no one is ready to accept there leadership in any position. Hence they are not qualified to be installed as the Babaloja and Iyaloja of Computer Village.
Haven realize this they resulted to engage the services of miscreant and hoodlums to terrorize the community. In the last view months computer village has recorded an unprecedented casualties of harassment and intimidation, computer village has become a dreadful environment to customers and business operators due to incessant robbery attacks. Miss. Azeez Bisola Raolat and Mr. Olasoji Adeniyi became an emperor and rule with terror on both the business operators, customer and the residents.
The business operators in computer village has high regard for the traditions and the cultural values of the Yorubas. We had no intention to disregard the office of Iyaloja General neither to undermined her authority. We are not politicians but business operators and wish not to create any platform for any political attack on the person of Chief Mrs. Folashade Tinubu Ojo or her Family. I wish to emphasis that there no time that Chief Mrs. Folashade Tinubu Ojo demanded for any payment from Computer Village nor use her influence to intimidate business operators or the residents.
We wish to appreciate your quick response to resolve the crisis in the community in viewing of bring a lasting solution”.
