There was an explosion in Damaturu, Yobe State, on Monday after a military armoured tank caught fire and caused panic in the area.
It was gathered that firefighters were immediately deployed to the scene to put off the fire just opposite the Federal Polytechnic Damaturu.
The Military later confirmed the incident saying the situation is under control.
