A case was brought before the Justice Court, under the jurisdiction of Judge Funmi Ashaolu, specially created to fast-track dispensation of justice. The case was between a father and his son.
According to reports, an old man claimed he gave his son N50 million to setup a business. The son did not only abandoned him but could also not give any reasonable account of the money collected.
The son admitted that the sum of N50 million was actually given to him.
While the old man was appealing to his son to release N20 million out of the money so that he could settle some debts he owes the bank, the son insists that he could only release N5 million.
