This clip shows the situation report of voting exercise at Olaniyi Junction polling unit at Abule-Egba.

As you can see, officials of INEC just arrived at exactly 18 minutes past 11 o’clock.

Voters were already becoming agitated before light appeared at the end of the tunnel.

Some polling centres at the Iju-Ishaga, Haruna Ogba, and a few others within the Ifako-Ijaiye axis also experienced delay in voting onset despite the early arrivals of intending voters.

Same was the situation at Ikoyi, Lagos where one of the major contestants for a high elective office (name withheld) was billed to perform his franchise also experienced lateness of assumption of voting due to delayed arrival of INEC officials.

FirstNigeriaTV’s Samuel Olugbenro revisited the mentioned polling centres and confirmed that voting had started and absolute order and peace was maintained.

It is expected that the commission will take note of situations like this in order to make the necessary adjustment before the next election.
