One of the intern nurses in Ondo State has cried out to the state’s Hospital Management Board over outstanding salaries for a period of 8 months.

With the current financial challenges in the country due to the naira notes redesign policy of the Central Bank of Nigeria, we cannot but appeal to the authorities concerned to look into the issue with a view to doing the needful.

However, efforts made by our correspondent to find out the position of things concerning the issue has revealed that the State is not owning any arrears of salary.

The lady in this video was confirmed to be one of the intern nurses whose salaries were flagged during a verification exercise when they were not seen at their duty posts.

Those involved were eventually cleared in batches and paid. We also discovered that this lady and some others have been cleared but they had left. We wish to inform the members of the public who might by one way or the other have seen this video that their details have been sent to the Account General for them to be paid directly and she cannot claim to be ignorant of this.
