A group of Igbo youths this morning took to the streets in Abule-Egba area of Lagos State chanting war slogans in protest over the defeat of Mr. Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour during the just concluded governorship election in the state. Members of the public are advised to be watchful and stay safe.
Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, candidate of the Labour Party is one of the contestants against the incumbent governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
INEC’s Returning Officer, Prof. Adenike Temidayo Oladiji, declared Sanwo-Olu winner of the election, having satisfied the provisions of the electoral act and the constitution.
