Unknown gunmen who came out to disrupt election in Imo State met their Waterloo as they fell in a shootout with men of the DSS.
The gunmen who were disrupting the peace in Amiri community came out chanting “No election in the South East”. Four of them eventually lost their lives after a fierce battle with the DSS officials.
The DSS has not issued any official statement on the incident but arrangements were being made to convey the unfortunate gunmen to the mortuary.
