Few hours to the general elections, youths in the South East took to the streets, chanting “No Election in Biafra Land” as shown in this clip.
It would be recalled that one of the IPOB leaders, Simon Ekpa who is resident in Finland had earlier made a broadcast on the radio that there will be no election in Biafra Land. He ordered that the people should observe Sit-at-Home from February 23 to 28.
Ekpa went further to list the roads that are restricted to vehicular movement in the region.
Report reaching our desk indicates that the IPOB leader has been arrested by the Finnish authority for refusal to make another broadcast countering the Sit-at-Home order.
