Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC), has won the presidential election in Jigawa State.
According to the INEC resident electoral commissioner in the state, Prof. Muhammad Bashar, Tinubu won the 19 LGAs of the state with a total of 421,390 votes, a professor, who declared Tinubu as winner at the state collation centre.
Bashar said he defeated the candidate of the People Democratic Party, (PDP) Atiku Abubakar, who scored 386,587 votes.
