Rukayat Shittu, a 26 year-old NOUN graduate of the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN), has emerged winner of the Kwara State Assembly election.
Rukayat who was the former Senate President of Congress of NOUN Students (CONS) contested on the platform of the All Progressives Congress party to represent Owode Onire Constituency won the election to become the the youngest member of the Kwara State House of Assembly and in Nigeria.
