
The People’s Democratic Party (PDP), has announced the referral of Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom to disciplinary committee and the suspension of some PDP stakeholders.
This development was disclosed in a statement issued by the PDP Public Secretary, Hon. Debo Ologunagba on Thursday.
According to the statement, Ortom was reported to the National Disciplinary Committee over involvements in anti-party activities.
The National Working Committee (NWC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) referred the Governor Ortom to the National Disciplinary Committee over his reported involvement in anti-party activities.
The NWC also approved the suspension of Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State, Sen. Pius Anyim of Ebonyi State, Prof. Dennis Ityavyar of Benue State and Dr. Aslam Aliyu of Zamfara State.
The statement also urged all leaders, critical stakeholders and teeming members of the Party across the country to remain united and focused at this critical time.
