As the General Election slated for February 25, 2023 draws near, Officers of the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) swung into action to ensure that only credible participate in the election.
Available information has revealed that the NIS has successfully arrested over 1,000 illegal immigrants having the Permanent Voter’s Cards (PVC) in their possession.
According to the an official of the service, the immigrants were from Niger, Chad and Cameroon. While commending the NIS for a job well done, we also hope that the agency will not relent in its efforts.
