In a broadcast on FM107.5 radio monitored in Lagos on March 3, the Lagos State chapter of Ohaneze Ndigbo says the organization is poised to vote for the State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu in the forthcoming Governorship Election.
The sociocultural group made the promise during a joint conference by the leadership of the Lagos State Leaders of Thoughts led by Yoruba Council Worldwide and Ohaneze Ndigbo aimed at calling for calm and understanding with the non-indigenous citizens in the State.
The joint conference took place in Ikeja, on the heels of one Okechukwu Isiguzoro who was inciting the public to vote out Sanwo-Olu in the forthcoming gubernatorial election.
In a joint statement, the President, Yoruba Council Worldwide, Hassan Oladotun, President Ohaneze Ndigbo, Mike Kelechi, and President Ohaneze Ndigbo Lagos chapter, Sunday Osai, stressed that Governor Sanwo-Olu deserves to be re-elected because of his landmark achievements and development of Lagos.
