GOVERNOR OYEBANJI APPROVES N24 MILLION AS RELIEF TO RAINSTORM VICTIMS IN OKEAKO EKITI

The Governor of Ekiti State, Abiodun Abayomi Oyebanji has approved a sum of 24 million naira to assist rainstorm victims in Oke-Ako Ekiti, a town under Ajoni Local Council Development Authority.

The Executive Chairman of Ajoni LCDA, Prince Michael Ogungbemi has described the prompt approval given for the purchase of relief materials to victims of rainstorm and other disaster as the best thing that could happen to the community.

In his statement, Prince Ogungbemi commended the Governor for approving the sum of 24million naira for relief materials for those who were directly affected in the disaster.

The Chairman noted that the gesture would further strengthened the love between the Governor and the people and give them succor to redeem their lost in the disaster.

He therefore urged the people to judiciously utilized the money for the purpose it was meant to serve.
