The results from 19 out of 20 local government areas in Lagos announced as of 2:44 pm today, by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has shown that the Candidate of the All-Progressives Congress (APC), Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu has emerged winner in yesterday’s governorship election.
According to INEC’s results from the 19 LGAs, APC is leading with a total of 736,171; Labour Party (LP) has 291,362, and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) takes the third position with 60,981 votes.
At the time of filing this report, results from Eti-Osa Local Government Area are being awaited.
