With landslide margin, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu defeated his formidable challengers from the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Labour Party (LP) and the NNPP.
Apart from the wide margin of over One Million votes above that of his closest rival, Tinubu was the only candidate that scored 25 per cent and above in more than 24 states of the Federation.
While Tinubu had more than 25 per cent in 30 states, Atiku Abubakar had his own in 20 and Peter Obi succeeded in 18 states.
