President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday, May 12, celebrates with Governor Ademola Nurudeen Adeleke of Osun State as he marks his 63rd birthday.
President Buhari urged Adeleke, whose victory was recently validated by the Supreme Court, to place the interest of the State and the welfare of the people above all else and seek God’s guidance to deliver on his mandate.
He affirms that the Senator, who represented Osun-West in the Upper Chamber of the National Assembly, solidified his base and gradually built a formidable network of friends and political allies that have helped his many victories, including leading one of the 36 states in the country.
The President sees Adeleke’s easygoing outlook on life as an asset, which gives him a huge following that cuts across all ages.
In a statement by Femi Adesina, the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, the President prayed that the Almighty God would grant Adeleke the strength, wisdom and courage to serve his people and the nation.
