America celebrates a Yoruba Surgeon, Dr. OLUYINKA OLUTOYE who successfully carried out operation to remove tumour from an unborn baby.
He took the foetus out of the mother’s womb and placed it back safely after extracting the tumour, thus saving the baby’s life until delivery at 36 weeks.
Dr. OLUTOYE and his wife are doctors. They both graduated from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife before relocating to America.
Dr. Oluyinka OLUTOYE and his wife with others have also performed operation to separate conjoined twins.
